1. Preparation: The substrate material is first printed and cut to size before it can be laminated. The laminating film is also prepared by cutting it to the appropriate size and feeding it into the laminating machine.

2. Feeding: The substrate material is then fed into the laminating machine along with the laminating film. The machine has rollers that press the two layers together, ensuring that they are aligned and free from air bubbles.

3. Heating: The laminating machine uses heat to melt the adhesive on the laminating film, causing it to bond with the substrate material. The heat is applied through the rollers, which also ensure that the two layers are pressed together evenly.

4. Cooling: After the laminating film is bonded to the substrate material, the laminated sheet is cooled down to solidify the bond. This process ensures that the laminated sheet is flat and free from wrinkles or distortion.

5. Trimming: Once the laminated sheet has cooled, it can be trimmed to size, either manually or by using a cutting machine. This step ensures that the laminated sheet has clean edges and is the desired size.
